Chase your dreams, achieve your goals – but sometimes you need to down shift and learn to appreciate, enjoy and be happy with life.

It is fine to have goals. In fact I have many goals categorized and prioritised. (See mind mapping) However, when our life becomes one big rat race of achieving the next objective without stopping to smell the roses you will burn out.

  • Clear Your Mind with Brain Dumping

    • Grab a pen and paper
    • Jot down all your thoughts and ideas onto paper - no order or neatness. Just dump it
    • Categorise your random thoughts - Web work, Significant Other, Socialising...
    • Prioritise your tasks under each category from highest to lowest

    Expand Creative Thoughts with Mind Mapping

    • Grab a pen and paper
    • Focus onto one job (ie: Improve Lifemonies) and Circle it
    • Draw a line out to a sub-category (ie: More Posts) and Circle it
    • Draw 3 lines out to sub-categories and fill 'em in (More Posts - Outsource, Partnerships, Self)
    • Sub-categorise them (Self - Allocate Time Daily 4-6pm, Set notification on mobile to post...)
    • Extrapolate until you come to definite tasks to complete
